NAIDOC 2019 Celebrations

During NAIDOC 2019, St Pius X Primary School celebrated by engaging in many different activities.

The students explored different foods, making wattle seed Johnny cakes and sampling manuka honey. They got in touch with their inner artistic styles by creating posters and learning about weaving. It was exciting to learn Awabakal language through song and celebrate Aboriginal culture through games!
