Baiyangbaiyaang Children

The educators and the children at Felton Street Community Preschool worked to make a collage for National Sorry Day 2021.

We set up cut-out printed materials containing various pictures of the word ‘sorry’ in different formats. During the day we created a fantastic collage using the pictures provided. We talked with the children about the word ‘sorry’ and the significance of Sorry Day and what it means to us in the preschool, as well as why we have Sorry Day. The children are interested in learning more and we will continue to include Aboriginal and Torres Strait island perspectives in play and acknowledge dates of significance.
